My client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is on the hunt for multiple Manufacturing Engineers. The position is responsible for designing, implementing and reviewing the procedures and equipment involved in the manufacturing process. You will be supporting the production department including fixture design, manufacturing process specifications, programming, and equipment specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities
-Responsible for design, development, implementation and analysis of technical processes and systems.
-Design and procure fixtures.
-Improve and document existing processes.
-Diagnose manufacturing problems.
-Recommends process changes for improved quality and efficiency. Strive for maximum efficiency, both with people and space.
-Uses problem-solving abilities to support production and maintenance departments.
-Set up machines
-Check parts in production
-Work with outside vendors
-Support Sales and Product managers by assisting with sales calls and customer visits.
Experience Requirements
Education/Experience: Must have a minimum of a four-year degree in an engineering discipline. Minimum two years' experience within a manufacturing environment. Preferred experience in metal tube fabrication and welded assemblies.
Knowledge: Sound knowledge of engineering theory and manufacturing techniques. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures.
